I play hard, I host harder, and I keep the lights on in the home lab so the squad never drops.
What's good — I'm Shaun (MrKnuckls), a PC gamer based in Dayton, Ohio. I spend my time deep in Arma Reforger, StarRupture, PalWorld, DayZ, and Hytale — and when I'm not playing, I'm hosting the servers we actually play on.
Everything runs out of my home lab, which is half battle-station, half science project. Proxmox, Docker, pfSense — the rack that keeps the servers online and the status feed green.
I'm also building SanRoque, a co-op open-world game in Unreal Engine 5. It's early days, but the vision is clear: a living world where you and your squad write the story.
This site is where you find my servers, what I'm into right now, and what's humming in the rack.
Five games own most of my time. Every one has a server I host or play on.
Cold War combined arms — large-scale infantry, armor, and heli ops. Modded scenarios and persistent PvP campaigns on the Knuckls server.
→ Server statusOpen-world extraction survival. Explore, build, fight AI and players in a hostile sci-fi frontier. Every run is a gamble.
→ Server statusBuild a base, catch Pals, automate production — then send your Pals into battle. It's survival crafting with creature collecting.
→ Server statusSpawn naked, survive zombies, get betrayed by friends, die to a broken leg. The most punishing survival game — the story is the prize.
→ Server statusSandbox adventure with a deep modding engine. Procedural worlds, dungeons, and fully customizable game logic — building worlds, not just playing them.
→ Server statusAll five run on Pterodactyl (Steam servers) behind a Cloudflare Tunnel — reachable but tucked away.
From Unreal Engine 5 to the home lab — everything I'm working on right now.
A co-op open-world survival game built in Unreal Engine 5. Dynamic weather, deep crafting, persistent bases — a living world you and your squad write the story in.
Proxmox VE cluster, Docker swarm, pfSense firewall — the rack runs 24/7, hosting game servers, the status feed, and all my experiments.
This site — brand kit, status server, lab diagram, and full game/server hub. Built on the Terminal palette with the squad in mind.
A custom operating system built from scratch — my own architecture, kernel, and vision for what an OS should be. Bare metal, no shortcuts.
Build updates, dev notes, and screenshots from the SanRoque project. New entries appear as I push progress.
Half battle-station, half science project. This rack powers everything.
Proxmox virtualization host running five VMs — game servers, Docker host, pfSense firewall, and a NAS for backups. The whole setup pulls about 200W and sits in my office closet.
